| On Saturday, August 15, b2s presented the sold out 8th edition of the major outdoor festival for harder styles: DECIBEL! Just as in previous years Decibel took place at the tremendous national park ?Beekse Bergen? in Hilvarenbeek, and this time it was bigger than ever with 40.000 people. After a fantastic 2008 edition b2s once again pulled out all the plugs to ensure that Decibel 2009 would be one of the highlights of the summer.
The Decibel festival brings together and unites a variety of b2s concepts every year. Besides the Decibel mainstage, back2school, Hardcore4life, Refuse, Pussy lounge, UP!, Darkness4life, Remember and 1992 is 4 you! were all represented once again. A new addition this year was the Euphoria stage, which ensured that all of the harder styles were there. Off course the different areas were represented by a wide-ranging mix of well over 100 national and international top artists. Not only did this include the old masters but also today?s heroes and the faces of tomorrow!
This 2 disc limited edition gives you a comprehensive overview of the entire festival. The over 120 minutes lasting main feature focuses on the glorious mainstage, Hardcore4life, back2school & Euphoria. All the highlights of these areas were carefully captured and edited to bringyou back into the fantastic festival atmosphere which was no doubt greatly enhanced by the extremely beautiful weather. And off course the first disc ends in the same bombastic style as the festival itself, with breathtaking fireworks and this year's slamming Decibel anthem. And then we still have a second disc of 90 minutes to go. Alongside a compilation of all of the other areas not featured on the first disc, this special features DVD brings you more unique Decibel material. A making of, behind the scenes, the trailer, a massive photo gallery, artist interviews and a special about b2s at the Rotterdam Dance Parade.
Together this is a massive live registration DVD that cannot be missed by anyone who?s into the harder styles of dance music and surely not by those who attended Decibel 2009.
